Kristy Valelly

Division Six Councillor Kristy Valelly (The Imperfect Mum) Division Six Councillor Kristy Vallelly is a fantastic advocate for the local community and one of the most genuine Councillors. Cairns Councillor Kristy Vallelly was an early supporter alongside Rob Pyne of the Youth Advisory Committee, recommended by the Cairns Young Chamber economic stimulus paper to which, Shane Cuthbert contributed in 2019-2020. If you would like to know more about the Cairns Young Chamber Economic Stimuls Paper CLICK HERE Divison 6 Councillor Kristy Vallelly operates the popular 'imperfect mum' online blog and represents the areas of Brinsmead, Crystal Cascades, Kamerunga, Redlynch, Freshwater and Stratford. It is expected first time Councillor Kristy Vallelly retain her Division Six seat, as part of the Cairns Unity team. The Cairns Unity team has been criticised for dodgy deals, taking cash from developers, corruption and conflicts of interest. The former Mayor Bob Manning was found guilty of corruption and failing to declare conflicts of interest matters relating to developments supported by new Mayor Terry James, Brett Moller and other Unity members.
Recently, the Cairns Unity team was criticised for attempting to appoint their mate Jeremy Neal to an otherwise elected position however, the appointment was blocked by independent Councillors who discovered Jeremy Neal had been depositing funds into the joint Unity team bank account benefiting all Unity members and forced Unity team Councillor Max O'Halloran to 'begrudgingly declare a conflict of interest, bring the December 21st meeting to a complete stand still.
This is still the same Unity team requesting your vote on March 16.
Unity - You're not in safe hands.
